Everyone I meet has a different color. Everything I hear, touch, see, or smell, has a different color. I’m a synesthete. Everything in this life is a sensory experience for me – the way that I view the world is unexpected and enveloping. A rainbow swoosh across a musical staff. That's the harmony I feel. At times, it is a battering curse that blazes like a wildfire. There are fuchsia flats, chartreuse sharps, and they exist through the silence. I would not be me, however, without my colorful view of the world. I’ve stopped asking, “Why?” I accept it now as a gift from God. No one sees the world the way I do. And no one sees the world the way you do. Thank you for sharing my world and becoming Synesthetic with me: I hope you can hear, feel, visualize, and taste my music in the way I live my life.                                                                                                                             ~ Blythe
